Frost Garden

Ice immobilises crops and blocks their fall. Attack an accessible edge to make more plots playable. Sun flowers are particularly useful against thick ice: harvesting one removes two layers from neighbouring plots. Ice does not grow back, so an opening lets you prepare matches closer to the last frozen plots.

Why these two gardens?

These gardens left proportionally fewer spare moves in the longer of our two check runs. Your own playthrough may differ.

Garden 138 : 39 moves

For three stars: at most 29 moves.

The frozen plots have two layers. A neighbouring sun flower can help thaw them if you harvest its plot. Once the passage is open, return to daisies and wheat; continuing in the thawed area no longer advances the ice goal.

Garden 140 : 37 moves

For three stars: at most 30 moves.

Ice is more scattered than in garden 138. Open an edge you can reach without spending many setup moves, then use falling crops to bring lavender together. Sun flowers remove two layers from neighbouring plots, so check their reach before harvesting them.
