MowBerryThe garden notebook

Blossom Hives

Check the active hive’s colour even when another colour offers a larger match. Nectar comes from the requested colour anywhere on the board. One wave fills at most one hive; after it fills, read the next colour before spending another move. A power harvesting the right colour can contribute nectar while opening the board.

Two demanding gardens to prepare for

Why these two gardens?

These gardens left proportionally fewer spare moves in the longer of our two check runs. Your own playthrough may differ.

Garden 120 : 43 moves

For three stars: at most 36 moves.

Wheat can contribute to both the harvest and the hive when that colour is requested. On other hives, you must choose between adding nectar and finishing wheat. Do not expect one large blast to fill several hives: a wave fills at most one.

In this garden, the nectar quota is 12 crops of the active colour per hive or summer stage.

Garden 118 : 36 moves

For three stars: at most 28 moves.

The first hive asks for berries, while the harvest counter asks for grass. Work with whichever is available without confusing the two. Once a hive fills, read the new colour before activating a power you had prepared for the previous one.

In this garden, the nectar quota is 10 crops of the active colour per hive or summer stage.
